What are we talking about?
The robotic process automation (RPA) automates repetitive and often tedious tasks carried out by human operators. Finance, HR, Customer Service, DIS, Procurement… departments generally have several time consuming processes, with some having the potential to become partly or fully automated. While a simple RPA only takes care of simple processes, adding the artificial intelligence aspect to a robot allows for more sophisticated operations, with the AI learning from the operator’s cognitive activity.
