Paris, March 3, 2025 - Equancy, the data, AI and digital transformation consultancy, is proud to announce the opening of a new office in the heart of the dynamic business district of Casablanca, Morocco. This strategic expansion marks a key step in Equancy's commitment to supporting the digital transformation of Moroccan companies and strengthening its presence in French-speaking Africa.

A stronger commitment to Moroccan companies

As an established partner of iconic local companies such as Groupe Marjane and Lesieur Cristal, Equancy intends to use the new office to consolidate its long-term relationships with existing clients and to attract new collaborations with large Moroccan companies and multinationals based in the region, as well as public sector bodies undergoing a major digital, data and AI transformation.

Experienced leadership to drive development

To manage this new branch, Equancy has appointed a duo of experts, Yassine Chahbi as Associate Director and Daniel Snook as Director of Data Technologies for the French office. With over 20 years' experience in data and AI, Yassine's mission will be to develop Equancy's business in Morocco. Daniel Snook, for his part, will support the deployment of the new entity by ensuring the sharing of knowledge and best practices between the French and Moroccan teams and the acceleration of international projects.

International synergy at the service of innovation

The Casablanca office will work in close collaboration with Equancy's Paris-based teams, guaranteeing seamless sharing of knowledge, training and cutting-edge technologies. This synergy will make it possible to carry out innovative projects, combining Equancy's international expertise with local proximity and understanding of clients' challenges.

Morocco: a fast-growing digital market

Morocco has an economic dynamic that favors digital transformation, supported by ambitious government initiatives and growing investment in the technological and financial sectors. Indeed, the growth of eGov, or the digitalisation of public services, is the cornerstone of the Kingdom's digital strategy between now and 2030.

Moroccan companies, particularly in the banking, telecoms and distribution sectors, are accelerating their digital transition, seeking to exploit data to optimise their operations, reduce risks and create added value.

Casablanca: a strategic hub for French-speaking Africa

Thanks to its privileged geographical position, Casablanca has established itself as a key economic hub for French-speaking Africa, offering strategic access to neighbouring markets. In addition, Morocco benefits from a growing pool of talent in the fields of IT, data, AI and digital. Equancy wishes to offer these talents rewarding career opportunities, both in France and in Morocco, thus facilitating the recruitment and development of profiles of excellence.

With this new location, Equancy is reaffirming its ambition to become a key player in digital transformation in Africa, while actively contributing to Morocco's economic and technological development.
